Terms of Use (Draft)
Everything produced here is the opinion of the author and a working draft for the JauntJot public beta, operated by Apps 4 That LLC (Indiana, USA).
What JauntJot is
A planning notebook: it helps you compare destinations against your own constraints and compose found-time plans from authored, evergreen city guidance. It is decision support, not an authority.
What JauntJot is not
- Not a booking service. It never books, holds, or guarantees anything, and never quotes live prices or availability.
- Not a review site. City primers are authored general guidance — neighborhoods and traditions, not ratings. Venues change: always verify current hours, tickets, and seasonal schedules before you go.
- Not medical, legal, or financial advice. Health content stops at CDC-cited jet-lag basics. Visa/entry questions belong with official sources (travel.state.gov). Parenting support belongs with ParentTravelPal; golf-trip organizing with FairwayAway.
- Not infallible. Scores and verdicts are transparent arithmetic over facts you entered. You own your decisions, including checking conditions and safety on the ground.
Your data, your device
Your content stays in your browser (see the draft Privacy Policy). You're responsible for exporting anything you'd hate to lose before clearing your browser.
Preview status & paid plans
This is a public beta: features may change or reset. Nothing is on sale yet; when paid plans launch they will be priced plainly, cancelable easily, and described honestly.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the API endpoints, probe the preview gate, or use the coach to generate content unrelated to travel planning. Rate limits are enforced.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JauntJot and Apps 4 That LLC are not liable for travel outcomes, closures, cancellations, costs, or losses arising from use of this preview. (Counsel will formalize this language before launch.)
